Anjana Dayananthan, General Counsel

Anjana graduated from University of California Santa Barbara in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology with a minor in Philosophy. She attended Golden Gate University School of Law and earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2007 with a Domestic Business Law Certificate and Witkin Award for Academic Excellence: Advanced Legal E-Search. Upon graduation, Anjana entered the field of healthcare law as a contract attorney for Dignity Health in the area of regulatory compliance. In 2010, she joined the practice of Medicare Reimbursement Law, specializing in the Medicare cost report appeals process. Anjana is fully versed in health care and governmental regulations and maintains professional working relationships with the Provider Reimbursement Review Board (PRRB), various Medicare Administrative Contractors, and Providers. Anjana enjoys representing hospital clients in developing, researching, analyzing, and negotiating effective strategies to assist her clients with Medicare DSH reimbursement issues. She is a member of the California state bar and a member of the United States District and Bankruptcy Courts for the District of Columbia.
